All drives are composed of free space at this point. We will now manually partition them.
We need a minimum of 2 partitions per drive. One for data and one for swap.
The single large data partition I create will eventually be mounted to / - the root file system.
Seeing that the disks are 8.6 GB, I'm going to reserve roughly 800 MB for swap space. You must leave space for a swap partition.
Typically swap space is configured to be equal in size to the amount of RAM you have - more or less.
So 8.6 - .8 = 7.8. I will set one large partition at 7.8 GB, and allocate remaining space to swap.
If your drives are not exactly the same size, you must use the smaller drive to calculate partition sizes.
